Gifted homeschooling

My child wasn't being challenged enough in school, so i took her out--- now i've decided to homeschool her. this homeschooling thing is new to me, and i haven't seen any books on homeschooling a gifted child. do you have any tips (or books) on how to make homeschooling challenging?

Please do not end up Homeschooling like people in my neighborhood do. Their kids are out on their bikes with the other "homeschool"kids early in the morning till late at night.
